We are a federally qualified health center located on the Southwest side of Atlanta, here to serve your health needs!

Our vision is a healthy community where all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay, have access to comprehensive, coordinated, affordable, quality health care.

HEALing Community Center offers primary care for children and adults, women's health services, behavioral health services, health and wellness education, preventative services, acute and chronic disease management and dental services for pediatric and adult patients.

With the support of community partners, health care providers, our staff and our donors, HEALing Community Center, bridges the gap to health and wellness in our community. Our patients have access to specialty care, laboratory services, screening mammograms, access to medication and many other services provided by the center and our partners throughout the community.

A Healthy Vision.

Our founder Charles E. Moore, MD is not only an experienced physician, but a man with vision too. While he was a physician at Grady Hospital, he saw numerous patients that only sought treatment after their diseases or illness progressed. Day after day, year after year, he saw patients that could have prevented cancer before it progressed but were not informed on treatment options and alternatives. After researching what Atlanta zip codes represented medically underserved areas, he saw an immediate need in the South West area of Atlanta. He visited homeless shelters, met with community leaders, gave cancer prevention talks and today, Healing Community Center has continued his initial vision- Health Education and service in OUR community.
