Primary Care

Pediatrics

HEALing Community Center’s pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners are nurturing and experienced individuals dedicated to your child’s well-being. We also operate two school-based health centers, providing on-site, accessible health services to the students and community of Miles Elementary School and Hollis Innovation Academy in South West Atlanta.

We provide pediatric care to children from birth to age 18. Our Pediatric Department provides a wide arrange of services for infants, children, and adolescents. We cover everything from checkups, immunizations, hearing and vision screening, physcials, behavioral health, and prevention and management of chronic diseases. We are available to provide your children with the best in accessible, comprehensive and compassionate healthcare.

Adult/Family Medicine

HEALing Community Center provides comprehensive adult care for patients 18 years and older. We provide both routine and preventative care. We manage high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, diabetes, and many other acute and chronic medical problems. We also focus on the prevention and screening of diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and cardiac disease. Our goal is to provide a patient-centered medical home for all patients. Our primary care physicians are trained to diagnose early symptoms of diseases, counsel patients on screening and early prevention, identify conditions that require medical intervention and make referrals to specialists.

OB/GYN & Midwifery

Our board-certified OB/GYN providers believe in making our patients feel comfortable and respected. We will listen to your concerns and answer your questions clearly. Whether you are thinking about getting pregnant, expecting a baby or need gynecological care, our team of doctors provides a wide range of services. We have diabetic nutrition counseling, ultrasound and laboratory services on-site.

Certified nurse midwives are healthcare providers who focus on the physical and psychological well-being of the mother by providing prenatal care and education, continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery and postpartum support. The education and knowledge base that mothers receive by the midwives enables them to feel more in control of their bodies and the health of the babies through natural childbirth. The goal is for mothers to experience a more fulfilling and beautiful delivery. Midwives work together with doctors to offer the best personalized care.
